Job Summary
Construction Manager (Superintendent) assigned to a project team in the Mid-Atlantic region, reporting to the project manager, responsible for supporting all phases of pharmaceutical/institutional facility construction. On-site leadership for daily operations, development and management of site safety and logistics plans, project scheduling, subcontractor/vendor oversight, coordination meetings with trade subcontractors, startup/commissioning activities, and on-site reporting and inspections. Requires on-site presence, travel to Mid-Atlantic project sites, and OSHA 30-hour training; 5-10 years of facility-construction experience in life sciences/healthcare is required, with a bachelor's degree preferred.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
- 5-10 years of experience in managing facility construction in the Pharmaceutical, Biotech, and Healthcare industries is required
- Experience in the life sciences and design-build industry is preferred
- Travel will be required to project sites in the Mid-Atlantic region.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required
- Procore experience preferred
- Primavera or equivalent scheduling software experience preferred
- OSHA 30-hour training must be completed within 5 years, or can be completed upon hire.
- A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
