Job Summary
Oversee the complete homebuilding process within an assigned community, managing multiple homes from permitting to closing while supervising trade contractors, material suppliers, and field assistants. Ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards by coordinating subcontractors, conducting homebuyer walk-throughs, and overseeing inspections to guarantee compliance with company guidelines. Resolve homeowner warranty requests promptly and maintain clear communication with homebuyers and the corporate office throughout the construction and closing phases. Supervise Construction Manager Trainees and mentor staff to foster team alignment. Requires minimum 2 years of new home building experience.
Required Qualifications
- New home construction experience
- Minimum 2 years new home building experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Professional manner and a strong ethical code
- Capable of resolving issues and managing interactions with upset homeowners
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to build positive working relationships across all members in the organization
- Strong sense of urgency
- Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive
