Job Summary

Construction Manager leads assigned telecom/project builds for Metronet, owning budgets, schedules, and customer-facing communications. Responsible for interpreting project specifications, developing work plans, coordinating resources, assigning duties to the management team, managing day-to-day operations to deliver on-time and within budget, producing progress reports for customers, enforcing contract/permit compliance, overseeing job-cost reporting, and maintaining professional relationships with customers and staff while pursuing ongoing professional development and adherence to company policies. Requires extensive telecom OSP experience, strong budgeting and scheduling capabilities, and a proven track record of delivering large-scale fiber construction projects. Required Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree in construction management, electrical engineering, or civil engineering preferred
  • Equivalent experience will be considered
  • Ten or more years of telecommunications OSP network design and construction experience or acceptable equivalent required
  • Strong knowledge of Telecom construction and engineering, project budget creation and management, project scheduling and tracking, project finance, cost reporting, and field office operations
  • Solid business acumen and experience in managing large telecom construction projects
