Job Summary
Manage construction schedules, budgets, and milestones while overseeing multiple homes from start to finish. Coordinate and supervise trade contractors, suppliers, and field staff to ensure timely execution, conducting daily site inspections for progress, safety, and code compliance. Review and approve subcontractor invoices, enforce OSHA and company safety policies, and lead buyer walkthroughs and final closings to ensure home readiness. Provide leadership, training, and coaching to assistant superintendents and field staff, communicating updates and issue resolutions with sales, design, and operations teams. This full-cycle home building role requires both office and field work, including lifting up to 50 pounds and operating a motor vehicle, with travel and public contact as essential functions.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 4-7 years of progressive construction management or superintendent experience
- Strong knowledge of building codes
- Ability to read and interpret plans
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Valid driver's license
- Active vehicle insurance
- Residential construction safety knowledge
