Job Summary
Construction Manager responsible for on-site project leadership, coordinating plans, schedules and budgets with the Project Management Group, leading the on-site team for smaller-scale projects, managing subcontractor contracts, assisting with change orders, and driving a safety culture as the Project Site Safety Leader. The role requires reading plans/specifications, understanding construction sequencing and means/methods, and supporting startup, commissioning, and closeout. Local travel is expected to support projects in Albany and Syracuse, NY. Candidates should have an associate degree plus 2+ years of experience (or a bachelor's in engineering/CM, or 5+ years in construction management), and familiar with OSHA/HAZWOPER concepts; OSHA 30-hour (preferred) and OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER (preferred) are cited as desirable certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree plus 2+ years relevant years of experience, or Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or CM discipline or 5+ years of relevant experience in a professional construction management role
