Job Summary
Oversee new home construction from permit to closing by scheduling subcontractors, conducting daily site walks, and managing multiple communities. Supervise contractors to ensure work meets quality standards and specifications while maintaining strict adherence to schedules and budgets. Coordinate walk-throughs and inspections with homebuyers, conduct pre-construction and sign-off meetings, and resolve material take-off errors or waste issues. Manage jobsite safety, cleanliness, and signage, while maintaining organized files and timely warranty documentation. Work closely with New Home Consultants and resolve conflicts to ensure homes close on schedule. Requires on-call availability for emergencies and delays across the DFW area.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to speak Spanish preferred
- Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of jobsite in all types of weather
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
- Ability to travel the DFW area is required
- Must be on-call to address delays, emergencies, bad weather, and other issues on a jobsite
- Thorough understanding of contracts, plans, specifications, and regulations
- Thorough understanding of engineering, architectural, and other construction drawings
- Knowledge of and familiar with operating basic computer systems and programs (i.e. Windows, Adobe, Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Ability to speak Spanish preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Associates and/or Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in homebuilding and/or related field preferred
