Job Summary
The Client-Side Construction Manager represents the Owner and oversees EPC contractor and subcontractor construction activities to ensure execution per the Client’s requirements, nuclear safety expectations, Polish regulatory obligations, and international best practices. Leads on-site client team coordination with engineering, licensing, procurement, and executive leadership; responsible for workforce planning, oversight procedures, regulatory interface with Polish regulators, QA/QC governance, risk and issue management, schedule validation, contract compliance, and upholding a strong nuclear safety culture; provides clear, evidence-based reporting to the Client’s executive team from a site-based role in Pomerania, Poland. Fluent English required; hybrid or stationary working model offered.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in nuclear construction or similarly regulated industries (e.g., oil & gas, petrochemicals)
- Experience representing the Client/Owner on major infrastructure or nuclear projects
- Knowledge of nuclear QA/QC requirements (e.g., NQA-1) and ISO standards
- Background in civil, mechanical, or nuclear engineering
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
- Fluent English proficiency
- Ability to oversee EPC/EPCM contractors, subcontractors, and supply chains
- Regulatory licensing, permitting, and construction regulations experience
- Strong scheduling, planning, and risk management skills
- Strong leadership in multicultural, multidisciplinary environments
- Experience with inspections, audits, and licensing-related construction activities
- Knowledge of ITPs, hold points, and change management
