Job Summary
Construction Manager at Amentum in the Williamsburg, VA area oversees large and complex building or facility construction/repair projects from design to completion. Responsibilities include providing technical oversight, reviewing submittals and shop drawings, coordinating inspections, monitoring project schedules and budgets, producing weekly project reports, and facilitating contract administration including change orders and liaison with Contractors. Requires proficiency with CM software and MS programs (Office, Project, Visio) and AutoCAD, knowledge of environmental/Safety/OSHA regulations, and experience across electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, concrete/masonry, and related disciplines. A 4-year BS in Architectural/Construction/Engineering and CM certification are preferred; active security clearance is required. Required Qualifications
- BS degree in Architectural/Construction/Engineering (preferred)
- 5 years of relevant experience or substitution of educational requirements for construction management experience
- Certified in Construction Management (CM) from a nationally recognized institution
