Job Summary
Lead and manage team activities, including training, performance evaluations, hiring, and goal setting for the assigned department. Optimize processes and resources to maximize productivity, gross profit margins, and cost savings while managing departmental budgets and expenditures. Collaborate with Safety and Quality Assurance teams to implement safety programs and reduce scrap rates. Represent NOV during fabrication processes at the yard, overseeing subcontractor performance, budget monitoring, and progress tracking to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery. Act as the primary point of contact for fabrication-related activities, verifying quantities against IFC drawings and MTOs, and resolving delays related to engineering or procurement. Prepare detailed progress reports, productivity reports, and fabrication workload reports for client approval and claims analysis. Chair weekly and monthly subcontractor meetings, manage payment certificates, and ensure compliance with HSE standards and project execution plans.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Construction Management) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the offshore oil and gas industry
- At least 3–5 years in a managerial position overseeing fabrication or construction of process modules
- Proficiency in English
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
