Construction Manager

Job Summary
Oversee construction activities across assigned projects, coordinating with Project Managers, Procurement, contractors, and site personnel to ensure execution aligns with scope, schedule, budget, safety, and contractual requirements. Serve as the primary field representative and first point of contact for contractors; lead pre-construction meetings, routine status meetings, and project closeout; develop and evaluate SOWs, RFQs, and RFPs; review bids; manage change orders and safety concerns; supervise Construction Coordinators; maintain and monitor the construction schedule to ensure milestones are achieved; coordinate with Procurement on vendor selection and contract types; manage site logistics and field coordination; facilitate communications among site teams, contractors, and leadership; resolve conflicts and drive timely field issue resolution; review and approve contractor payment requests.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Relevant experience in construction management, industrial or facility projects, or government/DOE environments preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction scheduling, contract administration, and contractor oversight.
- Ability to lead meetings, manage multiple stakeholders, and drive issue resolution.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- DOE Q Clearance preferred.
