Construction Manager

Produce tender programmes, prelims sheets, and methodology documents at the bid stage, assisting the project estimator during site visits and value engineering efforts. Lead the pre-construction team, chair design meetings with clients and subcontractors, and manage planning condition discharges. Plan and manage projects during the lead-in period by completing construction phase plans, waste management plans, and health and safety paperwork. Supervise designers, subcontractors, and labour to ensure work progresses on schedule, safely, and to required standards while controlling programme and costs. Produce request for information schedules, labour and plant forecasts for cost reports, and monthly progress reports for site meetings. Procure long-lead items, coordinate main services and highway adoption, and introduce the customer care manager at handover to manage defects. Maintain regular client contact and support junior site managers as needed.
