Job Summary
Coordinate and supervise all construction activities for aviation fuel infrastructure piping networks and safety systems in Misrata. Manage multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors, acting as the primary interface with the Client while ensuring compliance with HSE, QA/QC, and project requirements. Monitor progress, identify risks, and develop corrective plans to meet schedule and budget commitments through mechanical completion and commissioning. Submit periodic reports on performance, costs, and site resources. Requires 15+ years in Oil & Gas, fluent English, and EU citizenship. Rotation is 60 days ON/10 days OFF with provided accommodation and transport.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience in Oil & Gas, petrochemical, fuel storage, industrial plants or similar sectors
- At least 5 years of proven experience as Construction Manager on international EPC construction projects
- Strong experience in the coordination of multidisciplinary subcontractors and site teams
- Solid understanding of construction planning, mechanical completion, quality control and HSE requirements
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
- Availability to work on a rotational basis in Libya
- Citizenship of an EU Member State
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in aviation fuel facilities, airports, fuel terminals or storage and distribution systems
- Knowledge of French
