Job Summary
Construction Manager Level 3 responsible for managing all construction activities across transmission, substation, and distribution projects in Dorchester, MA, including budget, schedule, contract adherence, and compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Lead construction teams, oversee permitting, procurement, RFIs, Engineering Change Notices, and Change Orders; coordinate outage and energization plans; ensure accurate forecasting and risk mitigation while maintaining cash flow. Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field and 10-15 years of relevant experience; must be local to Dorchester, MA or in area; valid driver’s license required. Salary range $145,600 to $176,800 annually.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Applied Science, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience
- 10-15 years of construction, maintenance, or related experience (transmission/substation preferred)
- Deep knowledge of transmission, substation, and distribution construction practices
- Strong understanding of safety regulations, environmental compliance, and construction quality assurance
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with Project Managers, Engineering, Scheduling, Procurement, Legal, and field operations
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders
- Valid driver’s license required
- Proficiency in construction documentation, scheduling, and cost control
