Job Summary
Construction Manager I leads trades teams and manages construction activities across US and overseas, coordinating with subcontractors and vendors to hit milestones, manage budgets, and ensure safety and QA/QC. The role requires strong technical knowledge of facilities construction, experience with secure or mission-critical spaces (e.g., SCIFs), readiness to travel up to 75%, and governance under federal and commercial customers. Must hold a Bachelor’s degree (or 10+ years leading crews) and a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility; capable of operating in a dynamic, austere environment and communicating effectively in English.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management (or similar) or 10+ years leading construction crews
- 10+ years experience in construction/renovation of facilities
- Experience with federal government customers
- Ability to travel CONUS/OCONUS
- Must have Top Secret federal security clearance with SCI access
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must pass background/drug tests and MVR
- Valid driver’s license
