Job Summary
Manage all HVAC projects from concept to closeout, including GC and self-performed AHU restorations, by selecting and supervising subcontractors and coordinating with superintendents and technicians. Validate and sign off on proposals, specifications, cost estimates, and schedules while conducting prebids, pre-construction, and close-out activities. Account for project budget variance, profitability, and quality assurance, ensuring compliance with subcontractor agreements and issuing proper notifications for non-compliance. Direct Project Managers and technicians, review bids for contractual compliance, and approve proposals for submission. Utilize eBuilder for all project documentation and manage preventive and corrective action processes. Travel up to 50% including overnight stays.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree - Construction Related (Engineering, Construction Management, etc)
- HVAC/Mechanical Contracting Experience mandatory
- Mechanical Contracting License or the ability to get it is a plus
- Traveling up to 50%, including overnight stays
Desired Qualifications
- Mechanical Contracting License or the ability to get it is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Experience with Salesforce and eBuilder preferred
- Ability to direct a project from concept to closeout
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and the building owner
