Job Summary
Construction Manager with HOA experience to partner with owners and potentially grow into Director of Construction. Hybrid role with office in Long Beach, CA; manage coordination with project managers, engage directly with HOA boards, monitor budgets, ensure safety compliance, maintain project documentation, develop and maintain schedules, manage contractors and consultants, and interact with clients and stakeholders. Requires 3+ years of construction experience with a commercial GC or construction management company or as an Owners rep, 3+ years HOA experience, strong communication, organizational and analytical skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, Procore, Adobe, and reading architectural drawings; MS Project knowledge is helpful. Salary $110,000-$125,000 DOE; benefits include medical allowance, 401K, PTO, and mileage reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of construction work experience with a commercial GC or a construction management company or as an Owners rep
- 3+ years of experience working directly with HOA's
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers
- Ability to effectively present information
- Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and / or commissions
- Conducts basic financial analysis
- Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite, Procore and Adobe
- Ability to read and understand architectural drawings
- Working knowledge in MS Project is helpful
