Construction Manager - High Voltage

Job Summary

Lead planning, execution, and delivery of electrical construction projects by overseeing all operational phases, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and budget compliance. Manage personnel, set production and safety goals, coordinate with local bargaining units, and assign craft calls. Identify resources for personnel, materials, and equipment; manage work schedules including cable management plans; and coordinate equipment logistics. Contribute to monthly cost-to-complete reviews, report weekly quantities, and review progress with the Project Manager weekly. Requires 3-week on-site rotations with four-day workweeks, valid driver's license, and OSHA 30 Hour certification. Based in the continental US with travel to Midwest, Eastern, and Western states.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of construction management experience, preferably within electrical, utility, power delivery, renewable energy, or heavy civil construction industries
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, estimating, budgeting, and contract administration
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing multiple projects and teams simultaneously
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel to project sites as required
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
  • OSHA 30 Hour
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g. H-1B visa status)
  • Take reasonable care of your own and others' health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working toward the Company's Zero Injury principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Read, analyze and interpret blueprints, technical procedures, contracts or governmental regulations
  • Financial and budget management
  • Effectively present information and respond to questions from project managers, superintendents, clients & customers
  • Must be capable of working on-site for 3 weeks with a four-day rotation
  • Must have the ability to drive and have proper licensing

  • A combination of education and experience will be considered. May include Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field
