Job Summary

Lead construction projects from initial planning through closeout, serving as the landlord's representative for tenant improvement and capital construction within the Seattle medical office portfolio. Conduct regular site visits for inspections, oversight, and collaboration with local property teams while managing scope, schedules, budgets, and overall execution. Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors; review documents, specifications, and bids; and monitor progress through meetings and RFIs. Build networks of qualified local contractors and evaluate performance for competitive bidding. Collaborate with leasing teams on budgets and estimates, ensuring projects meet safety, quality, and deadline objectives. Full-time hybrid role with 20-30% state travel; pay range $100,000-$130,000 plus bonus.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, military experience, trade experience, and professional construction project management experience
  • 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction, tenant improvement, healthcare, life sciences, or capital improvement projects
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, building systems, project scheduling, estimating, and contract administration
  • Experience managing architects, engineers, general contractors, and subcontractors
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project budgets
  • Demonstrated experience leading construction meetings and driving projects to completion
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Travel throughout the assigned region

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience serving as an owner's representative, landlord representative, project manager, superintendent, or construction manager
  • Working knowledge of building codes, permitting processes, and regulatory requirements
