Job Summary
Conduct project meetings with clients, manage field personnel and teaming partners, and negotiate construction change orders. Prepare proposals, monitor project schedules and budgets, and issue reports while approving quantities for payment and construction applications. Resolve technical issues, perform constructability reviews and value engineering studies, lead risk management assessments, and develop standard operating procedures. Requires PE license in Washington, 10+ years of experience, and a driver's license. Seattle-based full-time role with hybrid work options and comprehensive benefits including tuition reimbursement and incentive compensation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Civil Engineering
- PE licensed in the State of Washington
- Experience as a Resident Engineer on transit and rail and highways
- 10+ years' experience
- Must possess a driver's license to fulfill the essential functions of the position
- GFT does require the successful completion of a criminal background check for all advertised positions
Desired Qualifications
- CCM
- Experience with Primavera P6
- 10-hour OSHA Safety course
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Good oral and written communication skills
