Job Summary
Construction Manager in Detroit leading in-market telecom outside plant operations. Responsible for managing in-market construction teams (including third-party vendors), interpreting drawings and ROW plans, onboarding contractors to Gateway specifications, resolving construction-related issues with city officials and residents, coordinating with Utilities and Locating companies, interfacing with Engineering to resolve design-field discrepancies, evaluating engineering change requests, tracking progress against plan, ensuring permits/easements are secured, and handling emergency management for network outages while fostering safety and efficiency across internal and external teams.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years in telecom outside plant and/or construction experience
- 3+ years of leadership in an operational environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Business/Operations Management, Project Management, Leadership, or related field
