Construction Manager - EPC

Job Summary
Plan, organize, direct and control the execution of projects to meet cost, quality, equipment and material resource usage, and safety objectives. Review proposals and coordinate with project team, owner, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors to select cost-effective methods and manage subcontractor selections and invoicing. Ensure safety is prioritized, lead project staff including superintendents and foremen, and monitor costs against budgets through regular reports. Coordinate budgeting, purchasing, engineering, accounting, cost, and installation functions; prepare and issue change orders; ensure timely billings and project completion through scheduling, material expediting, and submittal management. Lead project coordination meetings and participate in continuous improvement initiatives across the business. Able to travel up to 75% and manage EPC projects in heavy industrial markets.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience managing large pipeline projects
- Demonstrated success in management of EPC projects
- Ability to travel - 75%
- Working knowledge of project plans, specifications, owner contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, drawings, submittals and related documents
- Estimating experience is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills
- Self-motivated with leadership abilities
