Job Summary
Lead on-site Low Voltage Electrical Construction for hi-tech projects, coordinating with design teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure installation schedules, startup readiness, and commissioning. Oversee subcontractors and vendors, interpret construction documents and control sequences, run startup meetings with Area Construction Managers, design team, and owners, facilitate MEP system Startups, coordinate MEP-system interfaces with civil/architectural/structural elements, train Owner’s personnel on operations and maintenance, review submittals and RFIs, organize documentation, perform field surveys, and provide technical guidance from preconstruction through commissioning. Requires strong leadership, field coordination, QA/QC, and proficiency with construction software (Procore, P6, AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam) along with MS Office tools; minimum 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in a related engineering/construction field. On-site presence in Boise, ID with flexible hours to accommodate project schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent degree and/or field work experience
- A minimum of 5 years of electrical construction experience
- Experience with industrial and/or hi-tech semiconductor projects
- LEED Accredited Professional, or ability to become accredited within 18 months preferred
- Experience in organizing technical data in a neat and accurate method; familiar with CSI specification system for construction
- Ability to work closely with trade and craft people in a field work situation
- Professional communication skills (written and verbal) across owners, architects, engineers, vendors, subcontractors
