Job Summary
Construction Manager for Instrumentation and Controls on hi-tech manufacturing projects; oversees I&C subcontractor installation, coordinates with Area Construction Managers and multiple subcontractors, integrates Building Automated Control Systems with civil/architectural/structural elements, leads QA/QC, trains control personnel, participates in startup meetings, reviews submittals and RFIs, conducts field surveys, and assists in budgeting and staffing of the Building Automated Control Systems team.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of five (5) years of building automated control system construction experience required.
- Extensive experience in industrial and/or hi-tech semiconductor manufacturing projects is required.
- Experience working in a live high tech facility required.
- LEED Accredited Professional, or the ability to become accredited within eighteen (18) months preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent degree and/or equivalent field work experience required.
- Education background in materials and methods of construction.
- Experience working in cleanroom environments.
- Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point and Teams), and have a general understanding of working within a computer network.
- Experience with project management software such as Prolog, Procore, E-Builder, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Primavera Project Planner (P6).
- Experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks.
- Training in design and construction document reading, design specifications, survey theory and techniques.
- Experience in organizing technical data in a neat and accurate method. Familiar with CSI specification system for construction.
- Demonstrate thorough understanding of all aspects of building automated control system construction.
