Job Summary
Oversee electrical subcontractors at Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant projects, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with safety standards. Develop project schedules, manage procurement, and handle documentation including submittals and change orders. Lead project updates and resolve issues related to electrical systems. Requires 3-5 years experience in electrical project management, a degree in relevant field or electrical trade school, and a Journeyman or Master's electrical license.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an Electrical Superintendent or Project Manager with a focus on Water/Wastewater or similar infrastructure projects.
- Graduate from an electrical trade school or hold a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Journeyman or Master's electrical license.
- Proficient in BlueBeam or, at a minimum, Adobe Acrobat Reader for document management and review.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office 365 applications for project tracking and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical design and installation practices specific to Water and Wastewater systems.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with team members and stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with the installation and maintenance of electrical systems specific to Water and Wastewater infrastructure.
- Familiarity with industry codes and standards relevant to Water/Wastewater electrical systems (e.g., NEC, NEMA).
- Experience using project management software such as Procore & Primavera P6.
- Knowledge of project scheduling and resource allocation for large-scale projects.
- Familiarity with field operations and understanding of safety requirements for on-site electrical installations.
