Construction Manager – Data Centers

Job Summary

Lead field construction activities for data center development, overseeing tenant improvements, adaptive reuse, and mission-critical facility builds from pre-construction through closeout. Foster relationships with owners, general contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to coordinate daily operations, review work plans, and manage logistics. Verify compliance with contract documents, building codes, and OSHA regulations while conducting routine inspections and quality testing. Manage project documentation, including drawings, RFIs, and change orders, and prepare daily field reports to track progress and milestones. Coordinate with commissioning teams for equipment startup and facility turnover.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience managing commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or large-scale construction projects
  • Willingness to travel up to 100% based on project assignments
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project), Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Procore, or similar construction management platforms
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong documentation and recordkeeping abilities, including daily reports, meeting minutes, schedule tracking, field observations, and change management
  • OSHA 30 certification

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (Preferred)
  • Experience managing tenant improvement (TI), renovation, adaptive reuse, or interior fit-out projects
  • Experience with data centers, mission-critical facilities, semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, or other technically complex building projects
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), fire protection, and critical building systems
  • Working knowledge of commissioning, integrated systems testing, turnover, and facility startup processes
  • Knowledge of applicable building codes, OSHA regulations, quality management systems, and construction best practices
