Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Construction Manager to oversee commercial, industrial, and utility-scale solar projects at Commonwealth Power. The role includes managing project execution, coordinating with teams, enforcing safety programs, and maintaining quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of utility-scale or large commercial solar construction management experience.
- Proven ability to manage multiple crews and subcontractors on active job sites.
- Strong understanding of solar construction methods, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain prior to start).
- Proficiency with Google Suite.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work safely in various outdoor conditions.
- Willingness to travel to project sites (up to 80%).
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Procore construction management software.
- Experience managing GCs and large-scale renewable energy projects.
- Knowledge of civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical scopes in solar construction.
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to work safely in various outdoor conditions.
- Willingness to travel to project sites (up to 80%).
