Job Summary
Construction Manager at Baker Roofing Company responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing daily roofing system installations, materials staging, crew training, scheduling, and leadership of the crew to ensure safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Leads verification of shop drawings, coordinates procurement and labor projections, maintains job-site safety and cleanliness, reviews progress with managers, prepares daily reports and time sheets, and ensures overall project quality and on-time closeout. Requires minimum high school education, 3-5 years roofing experience, 2+ years in a supervisory role, valid driver’s license, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; strong leadership, communication, and safety skills are essential. Located in Winchester, VA; travel and specific job-site coordination with GC/customers as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years hands-on commercial roofing experience
- 2+ years in leadership role
- Driver’s License
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
- Strong English communication; bilingual a plus
