Construction Manager

Plan, organize, and oversee daily activities, including designation of material staging areas, supervising roofing system installations, and crew personnel management scheduling and issues. The Superintendent is responsible for installing roofing systems safely, with high quality and cost-effective results. Requires knowledge of safety techniques, ability to train and supervise the crew and subcontractors, read shop drawings, and install various roofing materials and components. Must review job files with management, ensure safety and equipment on site, supervise daily safety and quality, monitor material needs, prepare daily reports and time sheets, coordinate punch lists and job close-out, and ensure overall job quality and site cleanliness. Installation of roof/wall panels, flashing, fascia, gutters, ventilation, insulation, vapor barriers, and seam/solder work are included, along with the ability to communicate effectively with GC/customers and stakeholders. Requires standing for long periods, climbing and handling materials, and working in varied environments; knowledge of ABV continuity and safety policies is emphasized.
