Job Summary
Construction Manager to provide design and construction management support for projects up to $2.5M from start to finish. Duties include coordinating with customers to establish requirements, developing the Program of Requirements (POR), conducting design reviews, reviewing Design Intent Drawings and Construction Drawings for scope and accuracy, performing value engineering, participating in progress meetings, preparing submittals, government cost estimates, scopes of work, and updating project schedules and budgets; job sites will vary between interior and exterior environments with office oversight and site visits.
Required Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in engineering or architecture preferred, or commensurate experience
- 5+ years’ experience in architecture, engineering, or construction
- read drawings
- Communicate professionally and efficiently verbally and in writing
- Develop weekly reports and progress reports
- Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Project
- Understand and develop detailed Scopes of Work for design and construction projects
- Experience with Kahua software
