Job Summary
Construction Maintenance Engineer responsible for managing multiple mid to large capital projects and various repair/maintenance tasks within the Construction and Planning Department at the Toledo Zoo. Responsibilities include overseeing bidding, contract management, RFI/submittal processes, as-built drawing management, and onsite coordination, while supporting day-to-day activities to keep projects flowing. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and two years of construction estimating/management experience; proficiency in MS Office and PDF editing; 18+ years old; valid driver’s license; and a drug-free workplace. Exempt under FLSA with overtime beyond 40 hours/week. Location: Toledo, OH.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
- Two year experience in construction estimating/management
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and PDF editor proficiency
- Must be 18+ years of age
- Valid driver’s license and insurable by fleet insurance carrier
- Drug-free workplace compliance
