Job Summary
Construction Loan Associate supports the Construction Asset Management department with disbursement processing for Non-Critical Repair, PCNA Repair, Replacement Reserve, and Hazard Loss across FHA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and USDA. Responsibilities include processing disbursements for accuracy and compliance, monitoring workflow for each reserve type, reviewing loan documents and supporting documentation (insurance reports, statements of loss, vendor contracts, pay apps, invoices, lien waivers, inspections), completing PCNA renewals and analyses, reviewing inspections, lien searches, and PCNAs, coordinating with agencies, clients, and colleagues to resolve issues, tracking daily workload to ensure timely processing of draws, responding to inquiries, and collaborating with Asset Managers to address compliance concerns. The role emphasizes risk mitigation, adherence to internal and external policies, and maintaining a professional client service mindset. ORIX’s hybrid work arrangement requires a minimum of 3 days in-office. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience
- Minimum of 1-3 years prior work experience in commercial mortgage servicing or commercial real estate construction asset management or relevant field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related systems
- Creative problem-solving, strong organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, work independently or on a high-performance team
- Strong communication and discretion; commitment to accountability, integrity, and client service
