Job Summary
Conduct façade and high-rise repair work in the Alexandria, VA area, including mixing repair mortars and chemical grouts, cement finishing, forming, and rebar placement. Interpret structural drawings accurately and perform basic labor tasks alongside higher-level duties under supervision. Maintain a safety-oriented, proactive, and team-focused attitude while traveling to various concrete repair projects. Requires reliable transportation and 5+ years of construction experience. Earn $30-$40 per hour based on experience. OSHA 30, SST, and flagger courses are a plus. Bi-lingual English/Spanish is a plus. Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of prior construction experience
- Reliable transportation to travel to various concrete repair projects
- Experience in accurately interpreting structural drawings
- Experience with a self-performing contractor (concrete, masonry, steel, building envelope/facade, waterproofing, mechanical, or industrial), general contractor, or specialty contractor
- Must be team and solution oriented
- Proactive, professional, positive attitude
- Safety oriented
- Bi-lingual English / Spanish
