Job Summary
General Construction Labourer in Ottawa, ON for Great Northern Insulation. Role focuses on insulation of walls and related tasks in commercial/industrial projects. Work in pairs on multiple sites, indoors and outdoors, with possibilities for overtime and weekend work. Key duties include loading/unloading materials, site clean-up, completing paperwork on time, and using appropriate materials for insulation. Requirements include a valid G license with clean abstract, ability to work at heights, willingness to travel province-wide if needed, and strong teamwork and communication skills. Required Qualifications
- G Driver's license with a clear driver's abstract
- Ability to work Monday to Friday (occasional weekends) and start times as early as 6 am
- Willingness to work OT and weekends when needed
- Proven ability to work effectively as a team
- Basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills
- Experience in drywall, taping, roofing, landscaping, construction, or insulation is an asset
- Ability to work in different environmental conditions (indoors/outdoors, hot/cold)
- Proven time management and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Wearing PPE such as safety boots, safety glasses, gloves, masks/respirators, and overalls
- Use of common handheld power tools
