Construction Labourer

Job Summary
Skilled Labourer needed to support residential and commercial construction in the Saskatoon region. Reports to the Site Superintendent and will handle quality control of homes, ensure compliance with local building codes and safety policy, perform general site maintenance, and assist with carpentry tasks within residential and commercial projects. Responsibilities include labour and apprentice carpentry work, housekeeping, quality management and safety of all buildings, performing touch-ups and repairs on sub-trade deficiencies, completing carpentry tasks outside subcontractors' scope, and using power tools (air nailers, skill saw, screw gun). Must have 2+ years of construction labour and/or carpentry experience, own vehicle and valid license, strong communication, organization, team orientation, and professional appearance. Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of construction labour and/or carpentry experience
- Experience in residential construction is an asset
- Good verbal communication skills
- Understanding of how to use small tools and power tools
- Highly organized, results-oriented and able to work in a multi-functional team environment
- Great work ethic and willingness to be a team player
- Appearance must be neat, clean and professional
- Must have own vehicle and valid driver’s license
