Job Summary
The Laborer I is an entry-level position responsible for performing a variety of basic physical labor tasks on marine and civil construction sites including site preparation, material handling, and assisting skilled trades. Construction duties involve handling power and manual tools, operating motorized equipment, and carrying out tasks that require physical strength and good balance. Candidates should be able to lift up to 75 pounds, engage in frequent walking, stooping, and climbing, and possess experience with hand tools such as power tools and saws.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds frequently
- Frequent walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and climbing
- Frequent use of hand tools such as power tools, circular saws, hammers, nails, and bolts
- Authorized to work in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of formwork/concrete construction labor work experience
