Job Summary
Conduct day-to-day manual labor supporting construction operations, including shoveling, laying conduit, feeding cable, setting up street cones, pulling cable, and performing job site cleanup. Work alongside crews and line crews to assist with installation, maintenance, and telecommunication assignments. Lift up to 75 pounds and traverse all jobsite areas in all weather conditions, requiring climbing, crawling, and stretching. Maintain on-call availability for emergencies, delays, and bad weather. Must possess a CDL, valid driver's license, and DOT physical. Travel occasionally with overnight stays provided.
Required Qualifications
- CDL license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to read and comprehend regulations and instructions in English
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Basic carpentry skills
- Valid Driver's license
- DOT physical and good driving record
- Willingness to travel
- Ability to traverse and inspect all areas of jobsite in all types of weather
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds at a time
- On-call availability to address delays, emergencies, bad weather, and other issues at the jobsite
