Job Summary
Load and unload materials, assist carpenters and equipment operators, and perform general site tasks as directed. Clean and prepare construction sites by setting up and dismantling scaffolding, removing debris, and storing materials properly. Operate tools including power drills, demolition saws, skid steers, forklifts, and hand tools while working at heights on ladders and scaffolding. Shovel materials such as asphalt, concrete, dirt, and snow as required. Follow instructions from blueprints or site supervisors and conduct regular checks to ensure work meets building codes. Strictly adhere to all safety procedures and report incidents or violations immediately. Requires valid driver's license, ability to lift 50 pounds, and one year of construction experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in construction or a related field
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must be willing to travel to job sites
- Must be 18 years of age or older
