Job Summary
Performs general construction labor supporting concrete and commercial construction activities. Responsibilities include site preparation, material handling, assisting skilled trades, and maintaining a safe, clean jobsite. Key tasks include jobsite cleanup and moving materials by hand; operating motorized equipment and power tools after training; assisting in setting forms and wall panel forms; pouring and placing flatwork and vertical concrete; supporting concrete placement (pulling rebar, operating vibrator, guiding chute or pump hose, screed/come-along operations); loading/unloading trucks, hauling materials; servicing small equipment (pumps, compressors, generators); digging and cleaning trenches; and maintaining daily site safety.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of construction labor experience
- Dependable attendance and reliable transportation; travel up to 75 miles to job site
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and heavier loads with assistance; ability to perform strenuous labor in adverse conditions
- Familiarity with common hand and power tools
- Ability to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions
- Carry basic personal tools (tool belt, hammer, square, level, chalk line, pry bar, etc.)
