Job Summary
Construction Laborer (Concrete / General) – Perform general construction labor supporting concrete and commercial construction: site preparation, material handling, assisting skilled trades, and maintaining a safe, clean jobsite. Responsibilities include jobsite cleanup, moving materials by hand, operating motorized equipment and power tools after training, assisting with forming and wall panel forms; pouring and placing flatwork/vertical concrete; supporting concrete placement (pulling rebar, operating vibrator, guiding pump hose, screed/come-along operations); loading/unloading trucks, loading materials, servicing small equipment (pumps, compressors, generators); digging/cleaning trenches and assisting with water/sewer/storm piping; securing the jobsite daily and maintaining safety. Work environment is field-based in outdoor/indoor construction settings with variable conditions; physically demanding with lifting up to 50 lbs and potential travel up to 75 miles to job sites. Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of construction labor experience
- Dependable attendance and reliable transportation; travel up to 75 miles to job site
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and heavier loads with assistance; ability to perform strenuous labor in adverse conditions
- Familiarity with common hand and power tools
- Ability to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions
- Carry basic personal tools (tool belt, hammer, square, level, chalk line, pry bar, etc.)
- Preferred Qualifications: Valid driver’s license
- OSHA 10-hour Construction Card (training available)
