Job Summary
Construct laborer responsible for loading/unloading building materials, machinery, and tools and delivering them per project plans. Works outdoors with exposure to weather and assists with fence installation and concrete pours. Tasks include traffic control near work zones, shoveling materials, operating hand and power tools (drills, forklifts, skid loaders, etc.), cleaning and preparing sites, disposing of waste, and reporting safety incidents to Foreman/Safety Director/HR. Requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs, operating various construction equipment, knowledge of OSHA regulations, and dependable, efficient work ethic.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to obtain security clearances
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Knowledge of state and federal OSHA regulations/compliance laws
- Demonstrable knowledge of operating hand and power tools
- Demonstrable knowledge of operating construction equipment
- Demonstrable knowledge of operating vehicles, including those with trailers
- Ability to stand, walk, or be on-site for long periods
- Basic computer and phone use
