Job Summary
Construction Inspector to oversee road and bridge construction projects valued from $1-$50 million. Based out of Portland, ME, Augusta, ME, Eliot, ME, or Merrimack, NH, the role involves interfacing with contractor supervisors to monitor daily work, completing daily reports and quantity measurements, coordinating material sampling/testing, maintaining traffic, photographing progress, and updating red-line drawings using Bluebeam. Reports to the Resident Engineer or designee and requires adherence to safety, codes, and company policies. Preferred qualifications include an Associate of Science in Engineering/Construction Management, proficiency with MS Word and construction-management software (Site/Field Manager, APPIA, Procore, IPD or similar), experience with Bluebeam, and ACI/NETTCP certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of hiring.
Required Qualifications

- 5 years applicable experience
- valid driver’s license

- ability to read plans and specifications or aptitude to learn
