Job Summary
Construction Inspector for Water/Wastewater division in Waco, TX. Responsible for on-site observation of water/wastewater treatment plants, public works, utility lines, and related infrastructure on construction projects; review plans, permits, and specifications; participate in meetings to resolve issues with contractors and project stakeholders; perform field measurements and assist in coordinating materials testing; maintain field records and diary; identify on-site problems and recommend plan adjustments; mentor junior staff and support growth of the inspection practice statewide.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of inspection or construction experience
- Broad expertise or unique knowledge in construction concepts
- Independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
- Occasional supervision of other personnel
- Ability to coordinate with contractors and stakeholders
