Job Summary
Conduct thorough inspections of public infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and utilities, to ensure compliance with design specifications, codes, and regulations. Maintain detailed records of findings, prepare inspection reports for clients and regulatory authorities, and collaborate with project managers to address construction and design issues. Monitor contractors and subcontractors for adherence to project plans and safety protocols, while communicating progress and resolutions to stakeholders. Requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in public project inspection and NICET I certification is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in inspecting public projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards, including relevant codes and regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- NICET (National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies) Level I certification in a related field
