Job Summary
Conduct thorough inspections of public projects, including roads, bridges, and utilities, to ensure compliance with design specifications, codes, and regulations. Maintain detailed records of inspection findings through photographs and reports, preparing documentation for clients and regulatory authorities. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to identify construction and design issues, while monitoring contractors to ensure adherence to safety protocols and project plans. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients and regulatory agencies, to provide updates on progress and resolutions. Requires a minimum of three years of experience in public infrastructure inspection and preferably holds NICET I certification.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in inspecting public projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards, including relevant codes and regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- NICET (National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies) Level I certification in a related field
