Job Summary
Construction Inspector for the Leidos FAA facilities program. Provides technical construction management and oversight for facility modernization, including review of drawings/specifications, monitoring safety and progress, risk mitigation planning, and maintaining logs and records. Requires independent work with the FAA Resident Engineer, 80% travel, and potential security clearance; duties include ensuring code compliance, evaluating system status, and escorting contractor personnel in restricted areas.
Required Qualifications
- 6 years of prior relevant construction management experience such as Superintendent, Foreman, etc.
- BS with 2+ years relevant experience
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain Public Trust security clearance
- Experience reviewing project drawings and specifications
- Strong technical background and experience with construction projects, risk mitigation, coordination planning and documentation
