Job Summary
Interpret plans and specifications to prepare, present, evaluate, monitor, and maintain project records and documents for utility work, primarily water and sewer pipeline and rehabilitation. Adhere to federal, state, and client regulations regarding safety, ADA requirements, and environmental standards while documenting contractor operations to ensure alignment with engineering plans. Traverse rough, steep terrain and work under unfavorable weather conditions year-round to identify and resolve surface restoration conflicts within a team environment. Requires a valid state driver's license and 4-10 years of experience in construction inspection or oversight.
Required Qualifications
- Associates's degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, or related field
- 4-10 years of related experience in construction inspection or oversight focused on utility work – primarily water and sewer pipeline and rehabilitation
- Must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of drawings, plans, specifications, and general contract documents
- Valid state driver's license
- Ability to work under unfavorable weather conditions year-round and traverse rough, steep terrain while performing duties
