Job Summary
Conduct construction inspections and evaluate work quality at Marion County School District facilities. Review plans, specifications, and drawings to ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards. Identify and document defects or non-compliant work during site visits. Submit inspection reports and communicate findings to contractors and project managers. Maintain accurate records of inspection activities and coordinate with school administration regarding facility conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Pre-employment drug testing
- Pre-employment Level II ground check
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Eligibility for (re)employment based on the Florida Retirement System (FRS) guidelines
- U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work in the United States
- Age of 18 years or older
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position for which you are applying, with or without reasonable accommodations
- Authorization for background checks regarding employment or education history
