Job Summary
Inspect, observe, and ensure construction projects including road construction, mass grading, excavation, and bridges are completed in accordance with contract plans and specifications. Interpret plans and specifications to contractors and clients, prepare and maintain records of inspections, letters, and reports for roadway and bridge projects, and identify contract changes to assist in preparation of change orders. Travel to project sites as required. This role supports Forsgren Associates, a newly acquired Apex Company with 1,500+ employees and 50+ locations across the US, offering cross-training on various projects and performance-based bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- Good knowledge of the practices used, and the equipment required on construction projects, particularly in the areas of roadway grading, paving and bridge operations.
- Strong ability to work independently and take initiative.
- A clean driving record.
- Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) IQP qualifications or willingness to take required exams to obtain them preferred.
