Job Summary
Read and interpret plans and specifications, then inspect construction work for compliance with project requirements and applicable standards. Prepare daily inspection reports, document completed work, and report construction issues. Coordinate with contractors, project teams, and agency representatives. This role requires construction inspection experience, familiarity with public agency or infrastructure projects including roadways, bridges, and utilities, and relevant licenses. Full-time position based in New York City with a starting salary of $80,000 annually. Required Qualifications
- Construction inspection or related construction experience
- Experience with public agency, infrastructure, transportation, or building projects, including roadways, sidewalks, bridges, utilities, transit, buildings, parks, and other civil or vertical construction
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Relevant licenses and certifications
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
