Job Summary
Conduct construction inspections for earth dams, canals, and directional drilling projects while interpreting technical drawings and specifications. Perform soil sampling, testing, and compaction checks, and inspect protective coatings during trenching and shoring operations. Maintain a clean driving record for site travel and ensure all work adheres to OSHA 30 standards. Requires five years of construction inspection experience, state-certified apprenticeship completion, and valid driver's license. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years of construction inspection experience in crafts or trades
- At least two (2) years of hands-on experience in a related construction craft
- Successful completion of a state-certified apprenticeship program in a related construction craft
- Equivalent combination of vocational/specialized training and additional relevant experience
- Computer literacy
- Competency in word processing software
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- OSHA 30 Certification
